Jesus Loves Me

Annabelle loves to sing, she sings to Krisalynn all the time. I have been trying to get a video of her singing Let It Rise and have yet to do so, she always stops while I'm recording. But I did get her to sing Jesus Loves Me while in the bath with Krisalynn.

As usual

SEAWORLD

This last week, on John's birthday, we took the girls to Seaworld for the first time. We told Annabelle we were going and I showed her pictures and Shamu live on the Seaworld website. She was very excited and told everyone she was going to see REAL dolphins!

We went down with my sister Lauren, her husband Brandon and their son Logan who is 9 months older than Annabelle. We stayed the night and went to Seaworld the next day as well and my parents meet up with us then. We all had so much fun. I actually think I was more excited this time than ever before, I couldn't wait for Annabelle to experience Seaworld! And to my surprise Krisalynn enjoyed herself very much as well, she LOVED the Shamu show! She kicked her little legs so fast I thought they were going to fall off! She also made noises I'd never heard before, she was so excited she could hardly contain herself! It was to funny! (There is a video of her at the end of the post).

If you look at the very top of the photo and also on the screen to the left in the pic, you can see the trainer up in the air. He got launched sooo high, it was crazy!

Krisalynn hanging out in her stroller, where she was rarely accompanied by her older sister.

Sitting with Grandma

Lauren took this picture. On the second day they sat down in the splash zone so they got some good pictures and video (which is at the bottom of this post).

This was at the Dolphin Encounter. John got to pet the dolphins a couple of times.

Splashing water at the dolphins. I think John enjoyed this as much as Miss Belle did.

Ok, here is the video of Krisalynn during the Shamu show, and the video below it is the one Lauren took (it's what was going on that got Krisalynn so excited).

Oh The Fun... And Not So Fun

No matter what anyone says or saw, none of this happened this week!

Seriously! None of this happened to anyone in the Higgins Family!

No we did not have an awesome Easter celebrating Resurrection Day, and no we did not have a jam packed day of family fun!

No Annabelle did not get side tracked by her Maga's new strawberry plants and no she did not pick and eat every ripe and somewhat ripe strawberry while she was on an Easter egg hunt.

No Annabelle did not sniff Krisalynn's foot while I was trying to take pictures of them.

No I did not take the most adorable picture of Krisalynn, no not me!

And no Krisalynn did not learn to sit this week, kinda, for a minute or so.

No, I did not somehow upload my pictures out of sequence, again! No not me, not this computer wiz!

And no this is not a very sad little Annabelle after being told there were no more eggs to dye.

No Annabelle did not LOVE decorating Easter eggs and no I did not totally forget that we were suppose to dye eggs on Friday and make other plans for the day, no not me!

No I did not start potty training Annabelle this week and no I did not let her and her cousin strip down and play in the sandbox, not me!

And no Annabelle absolutely did not poop and pee in her plastic pants at her Nonie and Papa's house on Easter and no I did not let her run around later that day at my parents house with nothing on under her dress and no she was not accident free after that!

No I did not get to make homemade lemonade from the lemons from my tree and no it did not taste wonderful and no Annabelle did not help make it and no she did not lick every single lemon and scoop out and eat what was left, no not my picky little eater.

Remember, no matter what anyone says or saw, none of this happened this week!

Not Much To Say

Well there's really not a lot going on around here, life is just flying by. We have been trying to make a dent in all the little projects that need to get done around the house, we are slowly organizing and getting everything in a permanent home (whether it be in the trash or in the house or garage). I have been trying to upload my edited picture from the laptop to the blogs but for some reason it wasn't working so I finally gave in and redid them on the desktop so I can get them on the blogs. So here they are...

I am going to try to keep up on my blogs as much as I can. Our desktop is circling the drain and is super slow and will all of a sudden stop responding and John has been taking the laptop to work lately, plus I need to figure why my edited pictures aren't uploading. So I will do my best!

The Beauty in Life

Reading the updates about baby Stellan from http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ really puts a reality check on life. We don't know our time on this earth or our children's for that matter, so are we, am I living my life as if I could be with the Lord at any moment? Am I cherishing every moment I am given with my children, my husband? Am I experiencing Christ the way He desires me too, am I living my life for Him and His glory? I have realized how much I have taken my life on this earth for granted, I have gotten so caught up in the busyness of life to fully take in what God has blessed me with daily. Like just how miraculous my girls are, and how God took a little part of me and of John and created these two beautiful girls. When I really stop and think about it I am awe struck. And just how amazing a sunrise and sunset is. I was watering my lemon tree today that is covered in blossoms and tiny green lemons that will, in a very short time, grow into big, yellow lemons. What an awesome creator we serve. So I have decided to not let myself get wrapped up in the stresses of every day life and enjoy each moment the Lord has given me and render control fully over to Him and enjoy being His passenger. I want nothing more than what the Lord wants for me. I serve an awesome God who is perfect in all He does, who knows what is best for me and all of us, even though we may not understand. Please, if you feel lead, keep baby Stellan in your prayers and check out their blog, http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ reading this has been an inspiration and my heart goes out to their family.
Here are a few pictures of the girls. I am truly blessed by them and cherish these wonderful memories we are creating.

My little one

Peeling the paint off the post, no matter how many times she is told not to, she just can't resist.

Instead of Not Me Monday...

Please if you feel led, pray for the lady who started Not Me Monday and her family. Her little baby is in the hospital with a very fast heart rate, visit www.mycharmingkids.net for more info. Having little ones my heart aches for her, I can't imagine having to go through something like this. But we serve an awesome God who can do anything and He is a God of comfort. Please pray for Stellan that his heartrate would go back to normal, pray for peace and comfort for his parents and pray for the doctors as they try to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it.
